The Role

We need another experienced, multi-skilled Account Manager to join their growing sales team! This position reports to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for supporting customers in their success. We want the best sales and account management skills we can get and will look favourably on those, irrespective of industry experience.

It’s no ordinary account management role. It combines research, analysis, insight, strategy, communications, creativity, product knowledge (training given), and project management to ensure customer success. Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing the market, sales opportunities and performance across existing customers and identified business verticals
  • Contributing to activities to grow and uncover new business opportunities
  • Building strong and trusted customer relationships as you influence customers’ decisions
  • Effective and engaging relationship management
  • Producing meaningful and insightful reports

The Account Manager

The successful Account Manager will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years sales or account management experience and success
  • User based tech savviness across CRM, Google or Microsoft packages and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • A systematic approach to analysis and the development of account plans across the customer life cycle and channels
  • Communication skills that include telephone, presentations, social media and other digital disciplines
  • An ability to create insights and ideas from research and analysis

And will likely possess:

  • Strong B2B account management skills or aptitude
  • Results orientation and the ability to convert opportunities
  • Reliability, flexibility, enthusiasm, resilience, and resourcefulness
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business/sales, commerce, or relevant Account Management/sales work experience
