You will be working with the Gold Coast City Council Wastewater Division via Hays Specialist Recruitment.
Your new role
You will be working within the Wastewater division team working on all operational assets within the water and waste network, treatment plants and associated equipment. Your duties will include but will not be limited to;
- Performing minor works
- Performing preventive and corrective works
- Unplanned maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a highly experienced Fitter & Turner with exposure to the Water and Wastewater network. You will hold a high respect for safety standards and quality assured works. You will be able to provide an up to date CV detailing your experience in the industry along with two recent references to back you up. Mandatory requirements for this role are listed below:
- Certificate III in Fitting and Turning
- Construction White Card
- C-class Licence (MR licence preferred)
- Low Voltage Rescue Ticket
- Hepatitis A, B and Tetanus Shots
- Confined Space Ticket (highly beneficial)
In addition to the above, an EWP ticket is looked upon favourably.
