Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of accurate and timely Month End reporting
• Reconciliation of Balance Sheet, and preparing Profit & Loss statements
• Preparing and accurately submitting BAS, GST, FBT and Income Tax Returns
• Assisting with Budgeting, Forecasting, Analysis and Cash Flow preparation.
• Ensuring accuracy in monthly fixed assets reporting
• Processing payroll journals and accruals
• Providing ad hoc assistance where required

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business majors.
• CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion.
• Financial Accountant with 1-2 years of experience or an Assistant accountant looking for a step up with a background in a similar role or a global/large sized company.
• Exceptional technical knowledge with analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders across businesses.
• Attributes like being a self-starter, team player, quick learner, can do attitude and flexibility are highly regarded.
• Knowledge of advanced MS Excel (pivot tables) and SAP
