A local construction company with a strong project pipeline in north QLD is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to drive the construction of a bridge upgrade project.
Your new role
Reporting into the Project Manager you will be responsible for monitoring the constructions activities of the site crew to ensure that they meet their safety and performance obligations. Drawing from your hands on experience in civil construction you will be able to drive a crew of operators, concreters, steel fixers and labourers to ensure deadlines are hit and all work completed is compliant specification.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrated experience in civil construction within QLD combined with a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant statutory regulation and procedures. It is important that you have demonstrated experience managing schedules and programs whilst having the ability to drive a crew to tight timelines. Prior experience in bridge construction and civil works (roads and culverts) is required. Alongside:
- Cert III - IV in Civil Construction
- Cert III in Form Work
- Blue/White Card
