About your new role:

We are looking for several enthusiastic Aged Care Support Workers (Care Partners) to join our vibrant residential care team in Albany.

This position works closely with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders within the facility and is responsible for the provision of person-centered, individual care to residents within the Aged Care Facility.

The function of this position is to promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents, by partnering with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life. This includes everyday activities such as eating, personal hygiene tasks (such as bathing, dressing, going to the toilet), moving around, household tasks and leisure activities.  Care Partners coordinate with other staff to achieve these outcomes and liaise directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns.


Various shifts available

In order to join our team, you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID and Influenza, undertake a pre-employment medical, national police clearance and complete relevant background clearances.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to engage residents though a person-centered approach to care and support.
  • Works well and contributes effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate well and build relationships with people from many walks of life including those from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds.
  • Ability and willingness to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to complete busy workload and respond to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to providing a customer centric approach. 
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • An ability to use a range of IT applications at a basic to intermediate level.
