They also visited the gardens of three of our members, Brenda Lyon's at "Bridie Park", Rosalie Pollock's at "Beyond Avalon" and Heather and Bob Scott's, as well as Jenolan Caves.
The visitors said the countryside around Oberon was the only bit of green they had seen in quite a while. They were also very impressed with all the gardens.
A small number of club members are off to the Southern Highlands this month for an overnight trip.
For the other members, this month we have organised a visit to Brenda Lyon's lovely garden, "Bridie Park" at 63 Sloggets Road, for Monday, October 16. Be there by 9.30am.
Bring a small quantity of morning tea to share, a mug and a chair. Tea and coffee provided.
Most people know where the venue is, but if you require a lift, come to the Community Centre at 9am. It should be a lovely relaxing morning. Hope to see lots of members there. Inquiries to Nancy on 6336 1225.
