CHANGE: Brothers Matt and Scott Still will take over the lease of the Royal Hotel in October. They have plans for the hotel.

BROTHERS Scott and Matt Still, who were born at Black Springs, are pleased to confirm they have purchased the Oberon Royal Hotel leasehold from Michael and Megen Chappell.

Scott says he would like to continue to operate the business as is, and then over time improve the pub to include a family friendly atmosphere for all the community.

Scott said Mark Booth has been appointed general manager of the hotel.

"Mark is an outstanding member of the local community and he recently owned and operated the Tarana Hotel for over six years," he said.

Scott said the success of a business lies with senior management and “we are delighted that Mark has accepted the position, and look forward to working together in the future”.
