MOST HSC exams fall later in the year, however, Oberon High School drama students ‘sat’ the first part of their final exam last Friday.

Seven students acted in both individual and group performances in front of three external examiners and an appreciative audience of fellow students.

It was butterflies in the stomach before the performances and relief afterwards.

The performances were the culmination of months of rehearsals and honing their craft, and most were pleased with how they performed on the day.

These drama students have now completed 60 per cent of their HSC exams with only a theory exam worth 40 per cent to go.

It was a busy week for senior students at Oberon High.

It was particularly stressful for the drama students, but also a tense time for all HSC students who completed their HSC trial exams last week.

Senior year 12 students are now on the countdown to their final day of school in just a couple of weeks.
