The soup, featuring products sourced from the markets, will be made on site and will be available to taste and purchase.
Regular stall-holders will be selling locally grown lamb and beef, potatoes, bread, jams and preserves, Greek sweets and chocolates, home-made cakes and pies, free-range eggs, salami, garden plants and ornaments, wine and port and more, according to a market spokesperson.
“The person selling the article has grown, made or produced it themselves, so come along and find out more about the variety of products that come from the local area,” the spokesperson said.
“The Tarana Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade will have bacon and egg rolls available all day and Ruellas Coffee and T and K Coffee will be there.
“Seats and umbrellas provide a place to sit and relax.”
The Tarana Community Farmers’ Market will be held this Sunday, July 23 from 10am-2pm at the Fire Shed, which is just below the Tarana Hotel.
