Oberon Golf Club has a buddy club, Oatlands at Dundas.
Oatlands visited us last year and brought its chef and pro for the day.
In August, we are planning to take a group of our golfers to play their course and stay for a meal in their bistro. Oatlands will then visit us in early September.
There are sheets in the clubhouse with the details of the visit and members are encouraged to put their names down so that we can plan the trip.
There still remains work to be done on the course to repair areas where work was previously done to enhance the course.
The areas that still need work are above the 12th green and on the left-hand side of the 16 fairway.
Golf next week will be an 18-hole stroke event for the Monthly Medal.
The sponsor will be Laurie Murphy. The normal putting competition will be part of the day.
