Winter Festival
THE Bathurst Winter Festival, to be held from July 1-16, embraces the diverse seasonality of the region, revealing a surprise around each corner.
Watch buildings come alive through static and interactive illumination breathing life into the historic architecture.
Amuse yourself in the Winter Playground, sampling the charms of the outdoor McDonald's Bathurst ice rink, the giant ferris wheel and magical two-storey carousel every day of the festival.
The opening hours for the Winter Playground will be Monday to Thursday from 9am to 8pm and Friday to Sunday from 9am to 9pm.
Cost for the ice rink is $5 for children (two to 13 years) and $10 for all other tickets for a 45-minute session. Tickets are on sale now.
The ferris wheel will cost $5 per person, with tickets to be purchased on the day, and the carousel will cost $5 per person.

IGNITE THE NIGHT
IGNITE the Night this Saturday, July 1 from 5pm to 9pm will kick off the winter festival.
Meander through Edible Alley, filled with the scent of regionally sourced food and beverages, and soak up the carnival atmosphere with performances by giant stilt-walking Roaming Bugs, Ballerina in a Ball and the Kids’ Comedy show.
