They are being encouraged to take advantage of Oberon Community Health Centre’s convenient and free women’s health service.
Women’s health clinical nurse consultant Anne Smart offers pap smears, six-week post-natal checks, breast checks and mammogram referral, pregnancy counselling/termination advice, contraceptive options, menopause advice and blood pressure checks.
“If you have been putting off having that pap smear, or are worried about any issues with your personal health, make an appointment to see Anne,” an Oberon Community Health Centre spokesperson said.
Ms Smart’s next clinic will be held in Oberon on Thursday, June 29.
For an appointment, phone the Oberon Health Service on 6336 7200.
The Women’s Health Clinic is run out of the Community Health Centre, which is at the Oberon Health Service at 67-75 North Street.
