Oberon High School
This is the question that Oberon High School students from year 7 have been reflecting on over the last ten weeks through their participation in a project based learning task entitled ‘Fit 4 Me’.
Coordinated by Mr Mark Armstrong, the project has involved students working in small groups to create an exercise routine.
They also devise healthy recipes and create art works looking at body image.
Tomorrow, Friday, from 9.15am to 11am, the students will exhibit the culmination of their work in the school gym.
Parents, friends and community members are invited to attend.
Visitors will have an opportunity to see learning in action – literally.
Please contact the school on 6336 1606 if you will be attending.
Following on from the success of last year’s Variety in (free)Fall, the students from Oberon High School will present Variety in (free)Fall2 next Tuesday, May 30 at the school.
Students have been rehearsing over the past few weeks.
The show will include dance, drama and music as they highlight their considerable talents in the preforming arts.
Community members are invited to attend and entry is by a gold coin donation.
Doors open at 6pm and curtains up at 6.30pm.

They have been selected to compete at the Diocesan Spelling Bee on June 1 in Wellington.
St Josephs School year 3 and tear 4 students travelled to Sydney.
They completed The Rocks Walking Tour and visited Hyde Park Barracks as part of their History studies in Early British settlement.
It was a wonderful day with the students gaining lots of valuable information.
It was great for them to get to experience what it would have been like to be a convict at that time.
Thank you
A very special thank you to our supportive parent helpers on the day, Mrs Coyle, Mr Taggart, Mr Pincott and Mr Hotham.
