Organisers say the Royal Bathurst Show has long been regarded as the best west of Sydney and has boasted an average annual attendance in excess of 20,000 people. It is organised and run by the Bathurst Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association, a charitable community organisation that, for over 150 years, has been promoting agricultural activities and all aspects of rural and country life in the Bathurst area.
From the pavilions to showside alley to the eateries, organisers say there will be something for everyone.
Australia's premier precision driving team are back in 2017. The Team D-Max drivers are the same unbelievably skilled stunt driving team that have been thrilling Australia for years and at the Royal Bathurst Show since 2010.
They will put the Isuzu D-Max through its paces on one of the best big arenas in regional Australia, showing off a huge range of stunts, formation driving, reverse flick turns and high-speed crossovers, not to forget their 12-metre ramp-to-ramp jump and the two-wheel driving.
Xtreme Fireworks are back to present their explosive firework spectaculars on Friday and Saturday nights of the show.
Organisers say Friday night's spectacular is always a great culmination to the first day of the show and tops off a day of great competition in the arena and around the show.
The big fireworks extravaganza will be the highlight of the show on Saturday night, topping off a day full to the brim with competition, entertainment, fun and displays.
The Royal Bathurst Show will also include lots of face-painting and kids’ activities, as well as music and the agricultural competitions.
The ShowTime FMX Freestyle Moto X team have been a regular at the Royal Bathurst Show for the past few years and never fail to impress, according to show organisers.
They have been lauded as the most spectacular freestyle Moto X act in the country.
