Flood and severe weather warnings in the Northern Rivers and Mid-North Coast have created unsafe travelling conditions for the East Coast Dolphins under 16s along with their families and supporters.
The Dolphins are scheduled to meet the Rams in the under 16s decider. While Western takes on Newcastle in the under 18s.
CRL chief Terry Quinn declared player and personal safety to be at the forefront of the decision.
“The adverse weather conditions on the North Coast of New South Wales have created unsafe conditions for our players, families and supporters to travel in and for the safety of all involved, the decision to postpone the under 16s and under 18s Country Championship finals has been agreed upon.”
The rescheduled date and venue for the Country Championship Finals will decided by COB Friday, March 31.
