The ball handling and solid defence on the day kept the big crowd on their feet throughout the day.
It gave all sides the chance to see what the opposition will be like next week when the competition proper kicks off.
After the first round of games, the winners progressed to the Cup final and the losers went into the Plate.
In the Plate, Manildra defeated Cargo 12-10, in a match which went right down to the siren.
The Woodbridge Cup Tens was won in another derby, Grenfell defeated close neighbours Eugowra 13-4.
The Tens also serves as a guide to picking the Woodbridge Cup representative team for the Western Rams Cluster on April 22.
Based on the display from all the sides at Eugowra last weekend, we’re set for another gigantic Woodbridge Cup season in 2017.
