Jules, from Roseville Laundromat, joined other brave participants on Friday at Flair Hair for the World's Greatest Shave fundraiser to raise money for cancer research.
Flair Hair decided to offer a free shaving service to those participating.
"When we had abnormally high temperatures and I was so hot in the laundromat, that’s when I thought I would get the girls to shave it off,” Jules said.
"On Friday I was still a bit reluctant, but everyone, including myself, knows someone or a relative who has suffered from this terrible disease.
"I raised $350 and I would like to thank those who supported me for such a worthy cause."
Jules said she's got a beanie and scarf so she doesn't scare everyone, and thinks she will keep her hair short.
