Women golfers played the second round of the Arrow’s Newsagency Eliminator, an 18-hole stroke competition, last week. The ladies also played for the Monthly Medal.

Most players teed off early to be back to the clubhouse before the heat really set in.
Division 1 and Monthly Medal winner was Stella McGrath with 69 nett on a countback from Marjorie Webb, with Robyn Slattery coming in third. Robyn also won the putting competition.
Yvonne Collins was the Division 2 winner with 72 nett on a countback from Kathy Mooney. Helen Toohill took third place. Yvonne also won the putting competition. Round three of the eliminator was played yesterday. The final round will be played next Wednesday.
