The article suggested that our company has commenced work on site without formal development approval.
This is, in fact, incorrect and our project commencement awaits formal approval from the State Government Department of Planning and Environment.
I would like to reassure the Oberon community that our company remains compliant to the formal planning approval process.
The ground works on the southern and western perimeter of the existing MDF manufacturing hall (that Mr Schmitz may be referring to) were the matter of a separate application and have been fully approved by the Department of Planning and Environment.

Inattention kills
I WRITE to remind readers that it literally only takes seconds for a child to drown.
The hotter weather is with us and we ask all readers to take the greatest of care when children are in or around water.
Our key message is that you must give all of your attention all of the time.
Children under five are the age group most at risk of drowning. Last year 14 children in Australia under five drowned in a backyard pool.
So you have to be close to children all of the time. If young children are left alone temporarily, sadly this opens up massive dangers.
