Oberon and District Museum members Ray and Laurie McMahon say they have received a copy of a development application submitted to Oberon Council for the proposed car museum for the Skoda and Tatra car club, which they say will take up all their car park.
Mr McMahon said the Colorbond shed would be 50 by 31.5 feet and 16 feet tall.
"This will take up most of our parking area. If we have a bus come into the car park, it's going to make it fairly difficult,” he said.
Scotia Avenue resident Alma Hotham is worried her property will be devalued.
The DA has been lodged by John Holland for the state government railway, which is the governing body over the land, on behalf of the car club.
Oberon Council's Gary Wallace said council was only the determining body for the museum.
"All information and submissions will be lodged at our next council meeting, and it will be up to councillors to access information for determination," he said.
