Family, friends and the Oberon community are devastated after a late night accident on Friday killed two young men and left another in hospital with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called to Burraga Road, Gilmandyke just after 9am on Saturday.
Good mates Jack Fenton, 17, and Luke Foley, 18, were killed. Their friend Riley McFawn, 19, who was also in the Toyota Landcruiser, survived and was airlifted to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers from Chifley Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene with the assistance of the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Chifley Local Area Command duty officer Inspector David Abercrombie said a lot is still unknown about the accident.
“It occurred some time between 11.30pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday,” he said.
“Someone saw the vehicle in a paddock and called us.
“The vehicle has definitely rolled after it left the road, but we don’t know why it left the road.
“The vehicle will be mechanically examined. We’re being very open-minded about the cause [of the accident].”
Hundreds of people have taken to social media to express their sympathies to the family and friends of the men killed in the crash.
Oberon High School principal Ken Barwick's post on the school’s Facebook page said it was a tragedy for all involved and the broader community. Mr Barwick said the direct welfare of students and staff was of great concern and the school had two counsellors, the school chaplain and year advisers accessible for students.
In respect of the circumstances, Oberon senior and junior rugby league officials postponed their annual presentation events scheduled for last weekend.
Oberon Tigers coach Zac Rowlandson said the double fatality had left the club and community in shock.
