Conditions were cold and breezy, particularly down by the lake, however, the course was excellent.
Wilma Artery showed she was back to her good form, winning with 34 points in Division 1. Second was Robyn Stapleton with 30 points on a countback from Glennie McGrath. Nearest the pin was Colleen Saul.
The winner in Division 2 was Kathy Mooney with 28 points, followed by Helen Toohill with 25 points. Third on a triple countback was Barbara Coleman.
President Helen Toohill was presented recently with a Blue Mountains Honorary Councillor’s badge, in recognition of her many years of service to the Blue Mountains District.
Coming up soon is the Melbourne Cup three person ambrose, to be followed by a sumptuous luncheon on November 1, hosted by the ladies. It would be appreciated if those intending to come would tell a committee member. This day is open to non-golfers.
The Ray White Emms Mooney Ladies Open Day will be held on November 21, with players visiting from across the region.
