Orange CYMS claimed the minor premiership, while St Pat’s and Oberon earned hosting rights for the first weekend of finals football in the final games of the regular season last weekend.
St Pat’s and Bathurst Panthers will do battle in the major preliminary semi-final at Carrington Park on Sunday, while Oberon and Mudgee will fight for survival in the minor semi on Saturday.
"The teams in the top five a couple of weeks out were always going to finish in that top five, but it still wasn't clear who was going to finish where,” Zamparini said.
"Oberon in the first round beat Mudgee at Oberon in one of the toughest games both teams played all year and then when Oberon went up there to Mudgee, they drew 26-all.”
Oberon will be represented in under 18s, first division and premier division.
Oberon Rugby League president Ian Christie Johnston said this is a first for the Oberon Tigers since 1976 and he thinks it's been 50 years since Oberon has hosted a semi-final match.
Orange CYMS will play Orange Hawks in league tag at 10am, Oberon will play Panthers in under 18s at 11am, Oberon will play Cowra in first division at 12.15pm and Oberon will take on Mudgee in premier division at 1.45pm.
