After a break last year, the association is seeking support to run the awards in 2016.
Vicki Seccombe, from the NSW Business Chamber, has volunteered the chamber’s help in staging the awards.
Ms Seccombe explained that the local committee would run the awards, while aligning a number of categories with the Business Chamber, so the winners would have the opportunity to progress to regional and state finals.
“We have an online awards system that can be used, so all the entries are entered online. You can put in your own categories as well as ours. This provides you with an option to get judges from outside of the region,” Ms Seccombe said.
Tim Charge said they are looking for more volunteers to help with the organisation.
