The action will start at 9am and Central Tablelands Local Land Services director John Seaman will officially open the show at 2pm.
Strong entries are expected for sheep and wool sections and the shearing and wool-classing competitions have attracted extra sponsorship that will be reflected in the prizes.
The chainsaw demonstration is back and has lots of prizes up for grabs.
The sheep dog trials bring competitors from all over the state and are a great favourite with spectators.
Cookery and craft will also be well-represented.
Stallholders will be well-represented, offering goods ranging from lavender products through to handmade jewellery and handcrafted leather work.
Morning tea, a barbecue lunch and afternoon tea will be available throughout the day.
The show dance with 50/50 dances by request will kick off at 7.30pm at the Burraga Hall.
