The first award went to Oberon Public School's K1S for their winning two-dimensional artwork "Sunset", and the second award, highly commended, went to the eight to 10 years art group for their three-dimensional work "The Beach".
Two awards, community functional and the Herb Clarke memorial, were presented to Oberon Public School teacher Jocelyn Armstrong for her entry "Table".
Oberon artist Nicole O'Reagan's "Pheonix" also won the People's Choice Award at the regional exhibition.
Ms Clarke said there were 156 entries from 16 councils throughout NSW.
“Waste 2 Art has been going for 12 years and Oberon always does very well at a regional level,” she said.
“Oberon embraces recycling and I’m looking forward to next year’s entries with a theme yet to be announced.”
