During their season, players improved weekly and reached the semi finals round.

While Ivy Moore was awarded Sportsperson of the Year. She achieved great results and made the state squads, Australian country team under 21s, Bathurst district team combined high school teams.
She also had a great academic achievements during the year thanks to her hard work.
Ms Moore was also Club Person of the Year and donated much of her time to develop juniors.
Due to low number of younger players for 2016, and a lack of helpers for a committee, Oberon Junior Hockey officials say they may be forced to refer people to Bathurst.
There are currently enough players for an open team, but numbers are very low for under 7s, 9s, 11s, 13s and 15s.
Club officials have called on anyone interested in playing or helping to contact them before February 15 in order to attain whether the club is viable into the future.
