OBERON RSL Men’s Bowling Club players are ready for game day, despite a two-week pause in play.
Triples championships players are Stephen Gear, Hans Braun and Jody Taggart who will play Glenn Hepburn, John McQueen and George Braun.
Due to work commitments this game will be played in a fortnight’s time.
The winner from this game will then play Mick McKechnie, Jack Whittaker and Des Evans in the next round.
Fours championships players are Benny Bright, Gavin Bright, Stephen Barlow and Martin Barlow against Dietmar Sajowitz, Glenn Hepburn, Peter Hogan and Ken Kitt.
Also, Mick McKechnie, Jack Whittaker, Des Evans and Jody Taggart will play Bob Lawson, John McQueen, Hans Braun and George Braun.
These players are asked to have matches completed before pennants commence on Saturday, March 12.
A trial game will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 11.30am against Lithgow Workies. Members who have put their names down for pennants are asked to make themselves available for this day.
Selections will also be done for next week for the teams.
Round one of the pennants will be Saturday, March 12 at home against Portland. Round two will be on Saturday, March 19 against Mudgee at Mudgee.
Once final draws have been completed they will be distributed to players.
Social bowls will be held each Wednesday at 5pm, and then again on Saturday at 1pm. All are welcome to come.
Saturday night raffle duty person is Jack Whittaker.
