It was a crisp, sunny morning when the Oberon Health Council met up with the O’Connell Walking and Cycling Group after completion of their usual Sunday fitness regime to receive their Healthy Choice Award.

The group is made up of like-minded local residents who came together with a concept that has proven not only highly successful in providing a rewarding social network, but also the opportunity to get some great exercise, with the choice of walking or cycling through our beautiful surrounds followed by a well-deserved rest at O’Connell.
