The markets have been growing in popularity, and this month will include a bush cooking demonstration by Tarana local Graham Fletcher on a device he has built himself.
And this demonstration at noon is only the start of the fun.
The market, which will run from 10am until 2pm at the village’s fire shed, will include around 40 stalls.
On top of the wonderful range of eggs, jams, chutneys, pickles, sweets, photography, woodwork, cakes, free range meats, handmade milk soaps and alpaca products, there will be even more variety this weekend.
There will be organic vegetables from Blands at Yetholme, plants and garden artistry from Meg Lowe, as well as beautiful wines and beer from Casey’s Winery, Winooka Park and Fish River Brewery.
There will also be whipmaker Robin Wills, Christmas cakes and pudding for sale, as well as gingerbread.
Visitors can munch on an egg and bacon roll and sip a coffee from Ruella’s Coffee while they wander through the market.
Mel’s Muffins and Catherine’s Cupcakes will also be there to enjoy.
And don’t miss the chance to win the monster raffle, which includes a huge basket containing produce from each and every stallholder.
Visitors can enjoy a late breakfast at the Universal Eatery before heading to the market, and then enjoy a delicious lunch at the iconic Tarana Hotel.
Anyone who wants to hold a stall at the next Tarana Farmers’ Market, which will be held on December 20, can contact Lynne Woods on 6337 5867 or email sydmouthvalley@gmail.com.
