Come along for a great day full of fun and action for the whole family.
The day kicks off at 10am, but gates open at 8am, and will run through until approximately 6-7pm – depending on the number of entries received.
There is a full rodeo program, including the 20th anniversary of the Rod Brien Memorial bull ride with $2500 in prize money up for grabs, saddle bronc, team roping, barrel racing, steer riding and much more.
The full program will be available on the web site the week of the rodeo.
There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained during the day with a jumping castle, pony rides, laughing clowns and a mechanical bull.
A canteen and bar will be open all day and there is to strictly no alcohol to be taken into the showground.
There will also be entertainment after the rodeo.
The Geoff Maher Local Steer Ride entries will be taken on the day at the office and will be $20 for those who are 16 years and over and who reside within 50kms of Oberon.
If you are not a member of the Australian Bushman’s Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA) you will have to pay a day membership of $40 for an adult and $15 for a junior (U18) on top of entry.
There is $500 prize money up for grabs and the winner will take it all.
All other event entries will be taken through the ABCRA on February 19-20.

The committee thanks all sponsors supporting the rodeo. Events such as this are very costly to run and would not be possible without them.
