We had an excellent field of 92 golfers and I am sure they all enjoyed the beautiful day for golf.
The winning team was made up of Robert McGrath, Gareth Samuel and his wife, Buddy Hotham and Jack O’Neil.
They had an eagle on the 16th hole and birdied the 17th and 18th to come in with a score of 62/50 1/8th.
Not far behind were the Mooneys.
This team was made up of husband and wife Sean and Kath Mooney and Mick and Lyn Mooney.
They combined very well to come in with a great score of 64/50 7/8th.
There were many other good scores and lots of could-have-beens.
The team with nearest the pin on the first was Barry Stubbs, Alan Cairney, Daren Gordon and Ian Gordon. They were only a metre from the hole.
Dick O’Donnell, Vonda Voytilla, Don and Jen Capel were only 94 centimetres from the seventh.
Don Miller, Doug Curry, Kerry and Alby Davis won the ninth just 4.3 metres form the hole.
On the 17th Bob Slattery, Neil Evans, Jeff Harris and Hamish Anderson were just two metres away.
We had a couple of extra holes when we had a nearest the pin on the second shot.
On the 11th Barry Lang , Christine Lang, Ray Ross and Charles Smith were only 1.9 metres away, and on the 18th a team of ring-ins were too good for the rest of the field.
Wade Judd, Kirk Roberts, Luke Christie Johnson and Blake Miller were too close for the rest of the field.
