■ ON Sunday, December 15 at 12.20pm police attended Abercrombie Road, Paling Yards in relation to a collision involving two motorcycles. A 40-year-old woman sustained grazing to her body and was transported by ambulance to Oberon Hospital and a 46-year-old man was airlifted by air ambulance to Canberra with a fractured leg and shoulder injuries.

■ POLICE attended a Tarana address on Friday, December 13 and seized 11 firearms. Police are required to seize firearms from licence holders whose licence has expired. Check yours now to avoid this happening to you.
■ ON Monday, December 9 a man was issued with a move on direction from Oberon Hospital. The man had received warnings from charity organisations throughout NSW for abusing the charity system. The man complied with the direction and left Oberon.
■ OVERNIGHT on Thursday, December 5 a UHF radio was stolen from a council vehicle parked at a gravel pit in Edith. Police are urging anyone who may have seen a suspicious vehicle or person/s in the area to contact Oberon Police on 6336 1000.
■ THE Chifley Local Area Commander received information in relation to illegal dumping of rubbish in the Fish River at O’Connell. This matter has been forwarded to Oberon Police to investigate. Information about a suspect has been located in the rubbish – police could be knocking on your door very soon!
