The Mobile Service Centre will be Oberon on Thursday, November 27 from 9.30am to 3.30pm in Ross Street.
The Mobile Service Centre offers Centrelink and Medicare payments and services, child support information and hearing health checks.
Mobile Service Centre manager Tricia Florent said the Mobile Service Centre is a travelling outreach service that shortens the distance between rural and regional communities and government services.
“It’s a purpose-built service centre on wheels – equipped with the same technology as any Centrelink or Medicare Service Centre across the country,” Ms Florent said.
“On board we offer a wide range of information and services, tailored to meet the needs of each community. The centre is staffed by experienced officers who are specialists in rural servicing and provide friendly face-to-face services.
“During our last visit to the area we helped a parent to lodge her Family Tax Benefit lump sum claim using the Express Plus Families app, and showed her how to track her claim and view her letters.
"The customer was so impressed, she returned later in the day with a friend so she could access the same service.
“Come along and visit us when we’re in town.”
