■ Oberon Junior Hockey presentation will be on Sunday October 19 at the Oberon RSL Club from 4pm to 6pm.

■ Oberon Inner Wheel are having a pizza, pasta, pavlova and plonk night at the St Joseph’s School Hall on Saturday, November 15 at 7pm, $30 per person. Bookings at Melita’s Clippers. This is and over 18s event, a bit of trivia, socialising, and good fun. Tickets must be paid in full by November 1.
■ Oberon Children’s Centre is now taking enrolments for 2015. The Centre caters for three to five-year-olds. Call 6336 1310.
■ Oberon and District Museum, entry via Scotia Avenue, is open every Saturday and Sunday 10.30am to 5pm, or by appointment. Enquiries 6336 1016.
■ Oberon Roller Derby (ORD) training is now on Monday night’s from 6pm to 9pm at the Oberon High School.
■ Oberon Indoor Bowling Club would like to invite members of the community to learn the skill of indoor bowling. Indoor bowls is on Tuesday evenings, names in by 7pm to start bowling at 7.30pm at the Oberon RSL Club auditorium. Families and children over 12 years of age are welcome. Junior players between the ages of 12 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
■ The Oberon Uniting Church invites the community to an informal morning tea at 10.30am, activities followed by lunch at the Uniting Church Hall on the fourth Monday of each month. Cost $10 covers morning tea, activities and lunch.
