■ Saturday and Sunday, August 30 and 31 Police are investigating an incident at the Oberon Caravan Park on Saturday night, after a car was covered with cow manure. On Sunday night it is believed those responsible have returned, targeting the same car by deflating two tyres and pouring oil over the car. Suspects have been nominated.

■ Sunday August 31 A Hazelgrove Road resident had their letterbox destroyed for the third time on Sunday morning. Learning from the previous two incidents, the residents installed a camera which captured footage of the offender damaging the letterbox. They also captured a big clear picture of the registration plate and vehicle the offender arrived in. Police were handed the footage and have spoken to persons involved. The letterbox will be replaced.
■ Tuesday August 26 Police were contacted by a 39-year-old Oberon woman about a 44-year-old Oberon man making defamatory comments on the internet. Police spoke to the man and he was given a warning about his behaviour. Police would like to remind the community that what you write on the internet is permanent, even if you delete it. It is an offence under the Telecommunications Act to use the internet to harass/menace another person or organisation.
■ Friday August 22 A weekender at Jerrong was broken into and an air rifle, two gas bottles, one kettle, two ring gas burners, approximately 25 archery arrows and a chimney from a wood stove were stolen.
■ Monday August 21 A 66-year-old Oberon woman has been reported to police by a 71-year-old man after it is alleged she has been forwarding his business clients private e-mails between the man and woman from many years ago.
