The high flying Cowra Magpies will travel to Bathurst to do battle with St Pat's, for the third time this season, for a guaranteed spot in this year's grand final.
Having defeated the Mudgee Dragon's by 20 points, the Magpies now come up against the Minor-Premiers who had the luxury of a weekend off and will likely be chasing another one.
Despite playing for the rights of hosting the grand final, Steve Sutton spoke like a true coach, saying he is soley focused on taking it one week at a time.
"Obviously it would be massive for the town and it would be a bonus for the club but my focus is just winning," Sutton said.
"No-one remembers where the final is played - just the winner. Two more wins and we're premiers.
The Magpies impressed last weekend at Mudgee on the back of what Sutton described as Jeremy Gordon's best performance of the season.
"He played great, he was dangerous so we kept getting the ball to him."
"We're hoping he repeats that against his former team mates this weekend."
Since moving Gordon to the halves and Ricky Whitton to full-back midway through the season the Magpies have gone from strength to strength.
"He [Gordon] played mostly at full-back and in the centres last year, but he's a very skillful player and he played a bit in the halves when he was younger so we decided to try him their.
"Him and Timmy [Holman] are still evolving and learning when to get each other the ball but they'll keep improving off the back of last weekend," Sutton said.
Whitton has been a consistent performer at full-back and Sutton said he's a massive reason behind their success.
"He's a different player at full-back, he talks and he's really good positionally as well.
Going through the season as unsung heroes Cowra's forwards will once again be crucial this Sunday against St Pats. Sutton believes if his side do all the "simple things" right they will be hard to beat.
"We got to be defensively strong and patient.
"Rather then going to the big play, when we get opportunities we will be looking to build pressure.
The Magpies have lost both encounters with the minor-premiers in 2014, most recently in round 13 when St Pats ended Cowra’s five game winning streak at the Bathurst Showground 34-16.

Errors cost the Magpies that day as St Pats shot out to an 18-4 lead.
Despite going toe-to-toe with them for the majority of the game two late trys to St Pats proved decisive.
Finals footy however is a different breed and Sutton is quietly confident.
“Anything can happen in footy,” Sutton said.
“They’ll go in as favourites and they have every right to be. But we are confident we can get over them.”
Cowra will go in unchanged from last weekend’s win against Mudgee.
The Grand-Final qualifier kicks off at 2.30pm at Carrington Park on Sunday.
