Kylie attended a coaching clinic on the Wednesday and Thursday which had the top coaches from Australia in attendance.
From there Kylie was selected as captain in the NSW Number 2 mixed team.
Competition commenced on Anzac Day and included four NSW teams, two from Queensland, two from Victoria, teams from South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory/Tasmania and a team from New Zealand.
Kylie’s team defeated Western Australia, Queensland 1 and Victoria 1 and progressed to the Championship Final against NSW 1 on Sunday afternoon.
The final was a tough battle, the first four chukkas were goal to goal, but in the last two chukkas Kylie’s team dug deep and won the game 14 to 7.
Never before in the history of the Junior Classic has the second NSW team defeated the NSW number 1 team.
At the presentation Kylie thanked all the teams that competed, the parents of all the players and the NSW Polocrosse Association for the opportunity to captain and represent her State.
In January Kylie competed at the New Zealand Polocrosse Championships on the North Island in NZ where her team was successful in winning the Junior Championship.
Kylie will be competing at the Australian National Polocrosse Tournament in the NSW Junior Girls team at Darwin on 7- 13 July.
Good luck, Kylie.
