Phillip Haynes asked council’s general manager Alan Cairney whether the community fluoride forum questions had been forward to NSW Health and would a copy be forward to Merilyn Haines, president of the Fluoride Action Network Australia.
Mr Cairney said the report was not ready and a copy would not be sent to Ms Haines.
Mr Haynes asked whether it would be fair and equitable to have an opinion from both sides.
“I have answered your question and the decision is final,” Mr Cairney replied.
Veronika Cvitanovic referred to the minutes of council’s March meeting and asked why a correspondence list regarding fluoridation had not been supplied.
Mr Cairney advised Ms Cvitanovic that a summary will be provided in May.
Robyn Wiseman addressed councillors asking them to do their utmost to understand the fluoride information provided to them in regards to the detrimental health affects of fluoride.
Cr Ian Doney said last time council had this discussion it decided that it would make all the information available to the public.
Mr Cairney said all information will be available for public viewing.
