■ Between Friday, April 11 and Monday, April 14, the front door glass panel at Oberon High School was damaged. It appears a great deal of physical force was used to damage the window, but no entry was gained to the premises. Police would like to remind people that during the school holidays, unless permission is granted by the principal, no persons should be entering school grounds. If anyone notices unusual activity on any school grounds please contact Oberon Police on 6336 1000.

■ AT 1am on Saturday, April 12, Rockley Police came across a stolen vehicle that was on fire. The vehicle was completely destroyed.
■ POLICE attended the Pipe King Car Rally in Black Springs on Saturday. A few minor issues were reported, such as persons breaching the road closed areas. These issues were quickly sorted out. Organisers were happy with the overall conduct of the event.
■ A NUMBER of driving complaints have been made in Scotia Avenue, Oberon. Drivers have been spoken to and warnings issued about the manner of driving.
■ REPORTS of circle work on sports fields and public land in the North Street and Lowes Mount Road have been made to police. This selfish act has caused damage to sporting areas used by many children and adults in the Oberon community. Police would like to encourage any witnesses to this damage to come forward with the information.
■ IN the early hours of Tuesday, April 8 a number of houses in Cook Street, Oberon, have reported disturbances and attempts of entry into property. Police have conducted enquiries in the street and continue to seek information on any similar incidents in the surrounding area. A reminder to keep your premise secure at night.
■ ON Monday, April 14, Oberon Sergeant Jackson and Chifley Crime Manager Inspector Rankin attended a lunch and information session in relation to licensed hunting on public land hosted by the Game Licensing Unit.
