The pool continued to operate as normal until Sunday, March 16, 2014, before an extension in operating hours for weekend trade up until April 27.
Family passes sold for the pool rose from four in 2012/13 to 16 in 2013/14.
Single season passes increased from nine to 16.
A pleasing aspect of the 2013/14 results, according to the planning and development department, was that the use of the single season pass (number of times the pass was used) substantially increased from 931 in 2012/13 to 1821 in the 2013/14 season.
This indicates that the season passes are of substantial value to the community, according to the department.
During the 2012/13 season, there was a substantial reduction in school lessons.
As part of working towards the 2014/15 season, a major priority for the department is to look at increasing the usage.
The department said the construction of a swimming pool roof enclosure had minimised concerns over weather to increase attendance.
