■ On Monday, March 31 police received a report of a break enter and steal from a Queen Street house. The owner had been in hospital throughout March during which time person/s have entered and taken jewellery and an LG television.

■ Thieves broke into a property on Duckmaloi Road at the end of March. Items including Samsung Galaxy Tablets, digital cameras, a laptop, jewellery and clothing were taken. A particular piece of jewellery holds sentimental value. Please be aware that these items may be offered for sale at a very cheap price. It is an offence to purchase items believed to be stolen.
■ On Sunday, March 30, a Dillon Street resident returned home after a night away to find her television, DVD player, jewellery and clothing had been stolen.
■ Over the weekend of March 29 and 30, the windows on a council owned caterpillar earth work plant were smashed and a two way radio was stolen.
■ On Saturday March 29, Oberon Police, Highway Patrol Officers, Target Action Group Officers and Corrective Services Officers and dogs were involved in a joint operation at the Oberon Correctional Centre. Visitors and vehicles entering the property were searched with the use of drug detection dogs. One male was denied access and banned from future visits. A number of infringement notices were issued and another male will attend court for driving while disqualified.
