Well, who knows, but members and friends of the Oberon Heritage and Steam Club can chop heaps.
Members and friends of the Oberon Heritage and Steam Club gathered at the property of John Boxer to collect sufficient wood for use with the steam engines at the fair on February 7-9, 2014.
The members and friends gathered with their chainsaws and a log splitter and worked tirelessly to ensure there will be more than enough wood to keep the steam engines performing.
Next year’s fair is planned and preparations for the event occur all through the year to make sure the fair will always be bigger and better than the previous year.
The steam engines provide lots of interest when they travel around the streets of Oberon.
They then take part in the street parade and are on exhibition at the fair grounds at the Oberon Council football grounds.
On Friday, February 7, 2014 the annual car run takes place.
