Every year the students at Oberon Public School participate in a learn to swim program at the
town pool.
This year we have students participating in a range of skills from water familiarisation programs to the more advanced squad programs and everywhere in between.
Activities at the pool include retrieving toys from the bottom of the pool, swimming through hoops, floating on their backs, treading water, perfecting their strokes and water safety and survival lessons.
The children are enjoying their lessons and are becoming more confident swimmers through the two week program.
