OBERON league talents Ethan Barker and Dylan Jones have been selected in the B and A Building Supplies Group 10 under 14s side.
Both boys play with the Oberon Tigers Rugby League Club, and are excited about taking the next step in advancing their future league careers.
Oberon Tigers publicity officer, Kerry Gibbons was pleased with the boys selection.
"They are very deserving of the selection, they are talented players" Gibbons said.
"Dylan is a promising player, a great forward and has a great love of the game, Ethan is a fullback and shows great promise, he is very speedy and can step off both feet".
Barker and Jones have represented their sport at a school level, with Barkers first year in the Group 10 team and Jones's already apart of a former Group 10 squad.
Both boys train twice a week with their club side and have additional Group 10 training.
Oberon coaching coordinator, Peter Gascoigne was thrilled with the news.
"They are really nice kids, and have a lot of potential" Gascoigne said.
"They listen and always want to learn about the game - they are team players.
Barker and Jones will go head to head at the Under 13s and 14s Cluster Championship to be held on May 23 and 24 at the Tony Luchetti Sportsground in Lithgow.
The Group 10 U14s will begin their championship tournament with a match against Group 20 from the Riverana region of NSW on the Saturday at 4:05pm.
The Group 10 campaign will continue on the Sunday at 10:20am when they take on Group 9 and later at 1:05pm against Group 11.
Gascoigne would like to wish the boys the best of luck with the Group 10 side.
"They are doing Oberon proud, and if they keep up their attitude, their future will look promising" Gascoigne said. The Group 10 side will be coached by Gavin Morris.
