There was plenty of skill displayed by players despite the conditions.

Tiger's defence was very solid and their attack was brilliant with plenty of off-loads to support players resulting in tries. The team passing was good, with players frequently spreading the ball out the back line.

The boys thank Andrew and the under 8 St Pat’s for a good game that was organised at the last moment.

Under 14s

THE Under 14 Tigers were defeated by a committed Orange CYMS side last Saturday.

Oberon played from behind after allowing CYMS to race in the first try.

A good defensive set saw Oberon regain possession, get to their kick and score to make it four all, but this was as close as they would get.

Charlie again led the way in the forwards with solid runs and sound defence.

Bailey, Stevie, Jed and Zander all played well in patches but have to more consistent.

Ryan and Tom in the halves combined well to cause CYMS some headaches, while Jack was dangerous with ball in hand, running straight and hard and also defending well. Jamie at fullback stopped many attacking raids with sound defence.

Throughout the year all the under 14 players have shown improvement in attack and defence and their dedication and enthusiasm cannot be questioned.
