IT WAS certainly a night to remember, with the Oberon Rugby League Presentation Night honouring past and present football in Oberon.
Around 300 people attended the Night of Nights and enjoyed the Presentation of the 2008 Oberon Tigers.
Tyson Robinson was awarded both the Under 18s players Player and the Under 18s Brian Sweeney and Terry Hill Memorial Award for Best and Fairest.
There were a number of Mid West Senior Team awards, with Nathan Booth taking out the Players Player Award.
Shaun O'Neill was awarded the Geoff Maher and Colin Curry Memorial for Highest Points Scorer, and Evan Roberts was named Most Improved Player.
Scott Hawken was awarded the Coaches Award and Brian Maher the Rod Humphries Best and Fairest Award.
Dallas Booth took the David Munro Club Person Award and captain Trevor Long was awarded the Midwest Careflight Knock Out Winners Award.
A highlight of the night was Super Coach Craig Bellamy's speech. He talked about why Oberon's legendary team had the perfect formula.
Craig emphasised the combination of loyalty to team mates, looking after each other, friendships which have lasted a lifetime, dedication to training and doing it for each other as the thing which creates an unbeatable team.
A huge vote of thanks must go to Craig for making the effort to attend this wonderful and memorable night.
Tony Paskins was a hit on the night, reliving his times in Oberon.
The Legendary Team was presented with their medallions.
This was a memorable part of the celebration with many tears along the way.
It was great to see Yvonne and Boyd Elwin there to receive Col's medallion.
The documentary '10 out of 12 ain't bad' is wonderful coverage of Oberon's history-making teams, with many interviews and great footage shown.
Documentary copies are on sale at Oberon Videos and Discs, with 150 already sold.
Anyone wishing to purchase the DVD should hurry, as there is only 500 for sale.
