Revamped Tigers leave Portland in their dust

The Tigers bounced back from last weeks game to flogg Portland 74-0 in front of a huge crowd of Tiger supporters last weekend. The Oberon players were Scott Hawkin, Shaun O'Neil, Dallas Booth, Tyler Hughes, Cheyne Barker Darren Hotham, Leighton Roberts, Luke Christie Johnston, Luke Hayden, Nathan Booth, Evan Roberts, Brian Maher, Jack Fitzpatrick, Tyson Robinson, Jacob Newland, Luke Watson, Chris Mangan, Tim Cooper and Chris Dwyer.

Tigers scored 14 tries with Darren Hotham bagging four.

The Tigers dominated early possession and took territory over the Colts with strong performances from Scott Hawken and Cheyne Barker.

Oberon displayed a great team effort in the match equalising their defence and attack of the Colts.

Nathan Booth, Evan Roberts and Luke Christie Johnston played strongly and were backed up wellby Jack Fitzpatrick, Luke Watson, Dallas Booth and Jacob Newland.

Centennial Coal Cup results

Oberon 74 defeated Portland 0, Lithgow 50 defeated Wallerawang 6, Villages United 42 defeated St Pat’s 22 and Blackheath 27 defeated Kandos 22.
