On a somewhat wet day Oberon Women’s Golf Club held an 18 hole stableford event on May 26. The winner in division one was Katie Graham with Colleen Saul second on a countback from Joan Graham, third. Katie also won the nearest the pin.
Division 2 winner was Elizabeth Mawhood with Helen Toohill second and Lyn Prowse third on a countback from Vonda Voytilla. Marjorie Webb won the nearest the pin. Trophies were donated by Alma Hotham.
June competitions will be an 18 hole stableford event and the first round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator (with trophies by Joan Sullivan) on June 9; June 16 will be an 18 hole Par event and the second round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator (trophies Margaret Grady); June 23 – an 18 hole stroke, third round of the Arrows Newsagency Eliminator and the fifth round of the WGNSW Medal (trophies Yvonne Collins) and on June 30an 18 hole stableford and the final of the Arrows Eliminator.
