Women shine in darts doubles contest

THE Oberon Darts Club doubles competition was held at the Royal Hotel, with female members putting in a strong showing.

Names were drawn from a hat for pairings and a best of three competition decided the games. Final results:

A grade - Kay Haslop and Trevor Humphries d Yvonne Benjaman and Sonja Roots.

B grade - Jennie O’Bernier and Lloyd Roots d Bec Deen and Ian Kyte.

Highest score was Lynne Barlow with 133.

Lowest score was Lynne Barlow with a 0.

All winners and runners-up were presented with prize money and prizes.

The darts club winter competition is fast approaching. Keep a look out at the RSL Royal Hotel, Leagues Club and the Tourist Hotel for our posters and nomination forms.

Team and individual players are all welcome to nominate. Keep your darts sharp and your aim straight.
